A summary of the functioning of the Beauty Exhibitions
Dogs are registered and entered according to class, which depends on the age of the dog, whether previous championship successes and by sex. Once the judge has selected dogs that have been awarded First between selected intermediate class, open class (adults), the prize of "Best of breed", will then be entered. The final group performed in the afternoon as a closure and highlight of the event is the best in show.
The scale by the judge in an exhibition of beauty can be rated worst to best between:
Disqualified, not qualified enough, good, very good, excellent.
Once you get an excellent 1, depending on competition in the exhibition and the tastes of the judge deemed at that time they may or not give the CAC, CACIB best of breed, or as sometimes happens in exhibitions, if they do not consider it deserved that, can leave the CAC or CACIB, i.e. without granting any of the participants.
For the baby or puppies the highest level of qualification is "very good", since they are dogs still growing and not have not finished developing.
